Net Price Calculator
The Higher Education Opportunity Act (HEOA) requires colleges and universities participating in federal student aid programs to make certain information easily available to consumers. The Net Price Calculator is required by HEOA to help prospective students determine their total cost of attendance at respective colleges. The calculator provides an estimate of any scholarships and grants a typical, traditional college freshman with your academic record and family income might receive. It does not provide estimates for work-study assistance or loans.
The calculator is intended for use by U.S. citizens or permanent residents who will be incoming first-year freshmen, entering in the fall semester, pursuing their first undergraduate degree and enrolled as full-time students.
Please note that this calculator only provides estimates based on 2020-21 data per HEOA guidelines; the actual award package will vary depending upon merit (the student’s test scores and academic information), regulatory and institutional policy changes, availability of funds, and verifiable financial information.
It is important that prospective first-year freshman students complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) online at fafsa.gov by March 1. Meeting this priority date will allow for full consideration for available financial assistance. Additional information regarding funding sources can be found on our website at finaid.mines.edu.
Please contact our Financial Aid Office if you have questions.
